Circular roof renovation at Tectum Dekkers Brussels

For the roof renovation of their Brussels facility, Tectum Group resolutely opted for a sustainable and future-oriented approach. One of the warehouses received a completely new roof with the BossCover Circular System, a loose-laid and fully demountable EPDM system that allows for reuse, thus significantly extending the life of the roof.

A special feature of this project is the use of recovery insulation: PUR insulation that was previously dismantled during the renovation of the Flemish Administrative Center in Mechelen. After technical inspection by Buildwise, the material was stored for reuse. With this, Tectum Group proves that circular construction goes beyond recycling - reuse is central here.

The roof structure will be further finished with a semi-intensive green roof and solar panels. These not only provide extra insulation and water buffering, but also provide sustainable energy for the site. The result: a circular and energy-efficient roof solution, fully in line with Tectum Group's sustainability goals.

This project came about thanks to cooperation within the Biesmans Group:
CPE supplied the materials
BossCover provided the technical support
Tectum Group took care of the installation itself

A great example of how circular principles and group collaboration lead to smart, sustainable results.
