The new BossCover was recently installed at the scout halls in Hasselt. For this project, a prefabricated and circular sloping roof element was chosen, which allows for quick installation with limited impact on the site. Thanks to the generous element width of 2.4 meters and the integrated lifting loops, installation was smooth and efficient, with minimal disruption to the surrounding area.
The ModuDeck elements are delivered fully prefabricated, ensuring consistent quality on site. They are structurally calculated and completely detachable, both at the element and component level. This makes it possible to dismantle, reuse, or recycle the roof elements in the future—an important principle within this project.
The system also offered the necessary flexibility in terms of insulation and finishing. Depending on the project requirements, a choice could be made from various insulation materials, including bio-based and reuse solutions. For the interior finishing, standard options such as chipboard or Fermacell were used, supplemented with customization where necessary.
During the initial installations, any implementation challenges were quickly addressed and optimized thanks to our comprehensive in-house knowledge and development capabilities. As a result, this project serves not only as a realization, but also as a valuable reference for future applications of BossCover .
